The start of 2017 was filled with unexpected life-changing moments. Certain things came to light that made me take action to take a long overdue leave of absence from work and to focus on my own well being. One of those major tasks was to improve my mental health and “find myself” again. Try to find answers to questions like what is my passion? What do I want to do in the future? Why am I so unhappy with work?
During the 56 days of my leave of absence, I came to learn a lot about myself and what I wanted to do in the future. And asked myself, why not document that process? I’ve learned how to produce videos for work, I know how to maintain a channel and optimize videos. But this time, I was going to be in the spotlight. Although I am a total newb when it comes to being in front of a camera and vlogging, this experiment helped me overcome some of those fears as well.
